VERBASCUM         DUMULOSUM

AGM

#

A gem of a plant from Mediterranean regions. Growing in the driest of places amongst rock crevices and old ruins with virtually no soil. Forms a woody shrublet, clothed in densely grey woolly, hairy leaves up to an inch long by half an inch broad. The good sized flowers are of deepest yellow with a creamy, mauve centre. Given austere treatment in a pan it makes an excellent exhibition plant.
